1738 is the first record of the Hambrights in the New World. They were on the passenger list of the ship St. Andrew which docked at Philadelphia carrying 300 passengers from the port of Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The Hambrights left Germany which had fallen on hard times. They were from the Buchen-Baden area of Germany.
